We can all create beauty, with our words, with our thoughts, with our actions. The kind of Beauty I’m talking about is not limited to physical beauty and external attributes. Beauty comes from within and everybody can ignite beauty as soon as they’re willing to take a ride into their heart and their soul.
Although part of my job is to help women lose weight and look their best, my main message has always been that a complete transformation has to form from the inside, out. External beauty is nothing without a beautiful light in your soul and without healthy self-love.
When Outer Beauty Meets Inner Beauty
Inner Beauty really is what makes us shine and sparkle. However, it is very important that women love themselves physically too – meaning loving their bodies and loving who they are in general.
It is not possible to be truly happy if you hate what you see everyday in the mirror. This causes very unhealthy self-talk, which can lead to all kinds of health and relationships issues. I’ve been through it when I was younger, and I know how painful self-hate is. Wanting to be anybody else but who you are is one of the most awful feelings on earth.
The thing is, you shouldn’t want to change your physique in order to fit any society standards, or trend, but to really become the best representation of who YOU want to be, and of the image you want to project to the world, whatever that image is, as long as YOU like it and stay true to your SELF.
What Kind of Woman Do You Want To Be?
You have the right to want to look and feel beautiful. If you like to admire the beauty of a lion or a tiger, then why feel ashamed of wanting to express your own beauty? You are a piece of art! You are unique and have something special to bring to this world. Never be ashamed of wanting to shine and express beauty in your own ways.
I take care of myself physically – through eating foods of the highest vibrational quality (yes, food has a vibration, just like our thoughts and everything that exists on this planet) – and through regular exercise (strength training and cardiovascular training).
But I also give care a lot to my mind, by deliberately choosing positive thoughts over negative ones, by choosing very carefully the people that surround me and paying attention to where I put my focus on (always directed to what I do want and not what I fear or don’t want). For my spirit, I meditate, and connect quite often to my inner guidance (intuitions), for this is the whisper of our soul. I have my inner world and I feel that’s what makes me the most powerful in my life.
The more you flourish on the inside, the more this light will reflect on the outside. You may finally lose the weight you tried to lose for ages, and your body may even take another shape. In fact, that’s literally what happened to me! My body totally changed, to a degree I could have never imagined possible. I am now who I want to be, and this is the most beautiful feeling ever.
Self-love is the root from which everything grows. It impacts every single thing or person that is part of your life – and lack of self-love is the number one cause for most of our problems in life, if not all.
I would say that loving ourselves in a genuine, healthy, and respectful is one of the most difficult tasks we have to realize in life.
Yet, this one of the single most important lessons because the most powerful relationship we’ll ever have is the relationship with ourselves.
I’m going to share with you a tool that I learned from a spiritual teacher (The Spiritual Catalyst: Teal Scott) which I find incredibly powerful. This technique is called “What Would Someone Who Loved Themselves Do?”.
I want you to ask yourself this question, each time you want to do something or have to make a decision, even the most minor decision: “What would someone who loved themselves do?”.
Your intuitions are your “higher-self” speaking to you, that part of you that knows much more than the thinking-mind.
Each time you’re about to eat something, do something, or make a decision, once again, ask yourself “What would someone who loved themselves do?” and then have the courage to act on the answer, even if you don’t understand it right away.
Know that everything is always part of a much bigger plan and that your higher-self always knows what to do for your highest good…
“The person in life that you will always be with the most, is yourself. Because even when you are with others, you are still with yourself, too! When you wake up in the morning, you are with yourself, laying in bed at night you are with yourself, walking down the street in the sunlight you are with yourself. What kind of person do you want to walk down the street with? What kind of person do you want to wake up in the morning with? What kind of person do you want to see at the end of the day before you fall asleep? Because that person is yourself, and it’s your responsibility to be that person you want to be with. I know I want to spend my life with a person who knows how to let things go, who’s not full of hate, who’s able to smile and be carefree. So that’s who I have to be.” ― C. JoyBell C.
I once heard that bliss was « the sweetest nectar of life », and I agree on a profound level. Bliss is physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental happiness and this is the most delightful feeling on the planet… for this is when you are in complete alignment with who you truly are, and who you truly want to be.
Finding bliss is not always an easy quest, but for me, it is the most fascinating one. It requires a lot of courage, drive and passion, which a lot you encounter may not have, but I promise when you begin this quest, you’ll begin the greatest journey of your life.
